Because it's not the people's vote that counts for the president, but the electors. And the state representatives can send any electors they want. Our electoral college for president isn't like other elections in our country. So at this point, it doesn't matter. It's too late. No more hopium. Sorry. For any other election you could arguably change the outcome, but not president because of the electoral college.

The Constitution declares that state legislatures are to determine electors, but this power was usurped by the state elections officials (some state legislatures expressed explicit dismay with being deprived of their authority, but it happened when legislatures were not in session and therefore couldn't act appropriately). That fraud could be part of the challenge.
