The federal govt obviously doesn't work for us. That's taxation without representation! Pretty sure wars have been fought over that... I would gladly move to Texas and even pay extra in state taxes if they did that.

Texas should pass a law requiring all Federal income tax payments be sent to the Texas general fund and then Texas will pay the feds. Call it single payer income tax.
Then just stop paying the feds.
I really don't hate this idea.
Except it would give the Comptrollers office even more power and they are already the most wretched hive of scum and villainy in the whole state.
