Everytime someone got hopeful about that I felt like shit trying to shut them down
but "The Military" was never under Trump's control. Obama never gave up control of the Govt.
They built out a Figurehead position and Trump was too isolated from real insiders to even know he was giving orders and "The Military" was doing whatever Obama told them instead.

The military was there in force as a deterrent to another attempt like we saw a couple weeks ago....they wanted an overwhelming force to disincentive groups to try and rush the inauguration.
