Any advice from the former soviet union or countries that had coup d'etat ?

What were the lessons learned? What worked, how did you communicate, how long did it take before cracks began to appear in the regime ?

I saw a couple of warning videos from Venezuela and the former Yugoslavia but didn't save them.

Every colonial or dictatorship always labelling their people who don't follow them will be labelled (domestic) terrorist. Just look at Iran. So no matter what you do, you will be labelled like that. The pathways to won revolution is either be one or using other nation's power to free you (like the John Paul II to Polandia, USA to South Korea, etc).
