Where exactly has taking the "high" road ever gotten us?

The left controls EVERYTHING.

They control the news media.

They control our entire education system.

They control all of pop culture.

They control the internet.

They control our entire government.

They control the courts.

They control our law enforcement and military.

They control all major sports.

They control our healthcare.

They control "science".

They control our elections.

They control EVERYTHING.

You want to know why?

Because they get out in the fucking streets and fight when they don't get what they want and it fucking works.

I was telling people this. Antifa, like 'em or hate 'em, at least they got results.

"We need to take violent action now!"

"NO YOU CAN'T SAY THAT! WE ARE NOT VIOLENT! LAW AND ORDER! GO AWAY GLOWIE!"

... loses the country and proceeds to get bumfucked by the corrupt "law and order" system.

It seemed like controlled opposition playing both sides to intentionally stall us. One group of infiltrators pushing as much violence as possible, probably to allow for as many screenshots and stories to be used against the site as possible, and the other pushing as pacifistic and "bend over to take the reaming no matter what" as possible, usually with a "trust the plan that q lays out!" line in there.

The people in the middle that understand that violence will eventually be necessary because we won't be left with any other options get drowned out by both screaming extremes. Those extremes also came across as more than just people being angry at what happened or concerned about what might happen. It's feeling a lot like reddit again with a lot of infiltrators trying to do anything possible to disrupt.

By that logic, the USSR should've won the cold war.

LOL do you really think that the USA took the high road during the cold war. We were fighting them in proxy wars and arming the taliban in Afganistan.

My point is this: USSR controlled "EVERYTHING". They even controlled most of the USA.

How did that turn out for them?

Why did they fail?

They failed because their ideology is eventually self defeating.

But I'm afraid your point frankly misses the point. If they destroy you before they destroy themselves then it's a poor consulation prize. Fighting them and destroying their structures of power is the only way you stay out of the gulag.

We did fight the USSR. We lost in some respects, but we accomplished the goals we wanted to accomplish.

We didn't have to control all the levers of power. It's not necessary. In fact, gaining so much control is pointless unless you have an intention with those controls and your supporters agree with your intentions.

We are fighting a different sort of war right now, and the enemy isn't just the USSR anymore. We're taking on the largest global threat that has existed since the beginning of history. We are fighting with man's insatiable appetite for more money and power, and the corruption that goes along with it. By default, we're starting off with a terrible disadvantage, because the power-hungry inevitable obtain all power.
