Will the Supreme Court still hear the challenge to the election results? The Senate is scheduled to vote on impeachment the same day. Is there anyone out there who believes that we are still on plan? Like many of you I find what happened inexplicable. Why storm the Capitol Building if in the end no further action would be taken? And where is the evidence of wrong doing? No one except especially empowered investigators can collect the evidence needed to prove the case. The rest of us, and this includes sympathetic law makers, can only make a judgement based on circumstantial facts that point to disturbing inconsistencies but do not in and of itself prove anything. Defeat hangs in the air like the stink of a rotting carcass. Almost no one remains at TDW. The sense of disbelief and shock is palpable. People remain convinced that serious crimes were perpetrated but are crushed because nothing was done. Have the people been abandoned?
