I don’t support Lori Loughlin and what she did was wrong, but it sure was strange they were letting out so many criminals in CA, yet made her serve her entire sentence when she was low level risk to the population and could have served house arrest. Starting pay went from $10/hr to $13/hr. Anyone not making $13/hr got a raise.
The guy that had worked there for 5 years, had all the certifications, and was already making $13.50/hr? His pay didn't change.

I've been on the receiving end of that. I had a minimum wage increase which got me, literally, a $0.02 raise... and then I was training people for the same job I was doing, and they were coming into it making just as much as I was.
