I don't have much first-hand knowledge of our prison system but was under the impression receiving medical attention was difficult. Hard to imagine you have any kind of choice where it is concerned, either. Want minimally invasive surgery? Too bad open surgery is cheaper. Want a crown on that tooth? Too bad, it's getting pulled. Dental implant? Whoa everyone, get a load of this guy. And so on.
Inmates get unlimited and free healthcare. It's not bad either, they get seen by real doctors, surgeons, dentists, etc.
