17 Somehow I knew from the unwillingness of many people to bet that a lot more people are feeling like me than they care to admit. We were lied to! Nothing came of any of those krakens, truth bombs, or any other bullshit. We just quietly watched ourselves become a banana republic, and kept meming. It’s worse now because we are extremely aware of how corrupt ALL of politicians are but this was a solid reminder that there isn’t a goddamn thing we can do about it. Voting- what a joke!
