Thanks for your thoughts. and the time and effort put into giving them. I returned favor with the same and read through your linked posts. (a little tricky at first, figuring out how to get to them with the new domain, but you just swap out the root and it still worked)
There is definitely a lot of truth to what you warn. And I understand where you are coming from, and why. But perhaps I can provide a little more context on my opinion of the situation. There are a number of political plays that need to be made. But there is also a battle for the hearts and minds of everyday Americans.
We now live in a world where every person on the left. and 90% of those in the center, and even the RINOs are so brainwashed with blind hatred, that they refuse to talk about any topic with the words "republican, trump, conservative, or right-leaning." They shut down, cover their ears and yell LALALALA. Because the TV has trained them to do so.
I cannot have conversation with my own family unless I walk them through step by step "independent" policies and thoughts. Libertarian, Patriot Party, etc. Then they can at least listen. And this is how we win the hearts and minds.
If nothing else, view thepatriotparty.win as a means of engaging the hearts and minds of these lost souls. walk them through the ideas. The Tea Party came and went. but they had one lasting impact - they brought the topic of small government onto the radar. If not for the tea party, no one would be talking about small government.
Whether the Patriot Party consumes the republican party or the republican party consumes the patriot party is in many ways, irrelevant. We're going to be fighting some losing battles in the election world for a while. But we can use independent thoughts, ideas, arguments to start winning battles in the hearts and minds of men and women.
win enough battles in the hearts and minds, and we can win a single county clerk position in a single red county and pass meaningful election reform. Once we cross that first hurdle, and prove that election reform ideas work, that we can have honest elections where every vote is verifiable, that people can trust their vote. Then we can win the next county and the next county. and eventually the 90% of red counties in the nation will have honest elections, and those dishonest elections in the blue counties will start to look very suspect, and with the hearts and minds won over, people can see what a fair election looks like vs a fraud election. THEN we can start winning the big elections again.

I do know the exact point of view you're coming from, been there, done that. There is no time, like the line in the movie Lord of the Rings: Two Towers; "The hour is later than you think(realize)."
These sorts of things you describe, would have needed to be done years ago; or the Dems would need someone like a "Bill Clinton" on the throne right now, or even an Obama; but they're not; they're in full battle mode and their pounding at the gates without us having enough defenders on the walls. We need to recruit more defenders on the walls, not double the length of wall which needs defending.
For instance, before 1775 or 1860 and especially 1941; as the drums of war were being beaten, various preparations were made, for what was needed to win. A gun factory was built at Harpers Ferry. B-17s and other designs already done; Pentagon completed; Hoover Dam built and filled to provide electricity for the aircraft industry in So Cal; new tactics & doctrines; leadership training; etc. ALL of these types of (defensive & strategic) preparations, have been completely intentionally nixed/killed/prevented/etc by the Commies & Corrupt for many years now. All while the Commies & Corrupt made all their organized preparations including offensive ones (lists of who to round up, intel gathering, freeing up jail space, moneys to their troops/groups, comms networks, codebooks, etc.)
Further, if DJT was sitting in the Oval Office right this minute, we wouldn't even be having a 3rd Party discussion (again). The entirety of the action is being driven by the Democrats' theft. This means the "patriot party (which already existed btw)" is a "reaction" and one which the Dems have been working on my entire life; and that of my parents, grandparents, trying to replicate the T.R. Bull Moose split.
Creating a new party won't make the judiciary take up a lawsuit on Elections; this power already exists in the State Legislatures to clean up Elections. Splitting the party is extremely counter-productive to getting the Republican State Legislatures to unite and fix these problems.
The key resources are: Time, money, leadership, trust, media(communications).
If there is money for a 3rd party, then there's enough money to win as Republicans overwhelmingly in even more Statehouses.
If there's enough leadership for a 3rd party, then there's enough candidates, precinct chairs, etc to flush out all the anti-trumper swamp creatures.
If there's enough trust for a 3rd party, then why wasn't the FIB, DOJ, WH hiring, WH Press Corps, GOP Committee, etc ever cleaned out; or why lead people into a trap like the 6th. If there was enough trust, people wouldn't be trying to bail the Republican Party to form a 3rd one. It's like, not having enough seed to plant your field this year, but saying getting more land will solve the problem ,it wont, it doubles the problem. Trust is earned over time, just as how democrats DJT or Reagan, weren't immediately trusted by Republicians.. And "destroying" the party, will nuke all trust with at least 20% minimum (to 40%) of Republicans because they know its walking into a trap and will hand the Dems full power/control in many State Capitals, just as it did in W.Wilson & FDR times.
The marxists control the vast majority of media (which is generated and consumed) as you mentioned with your family firsthand. There's no where near enough media bandwidth for making a 3rd party. This IS where DJT could do something by creating his own Fox News equivalent; as this HELPS solve the problems rather than canabilzing the remaining media pieces fighting to split the remaining bandwidth.
Time. For instance, the Lefties have their "bailout hotlines" to get out of jail when arrested for years now. Where's our sides version of that. There's thousands of arrests going on and there's going to be tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands more. Like when my mom was kidnapped/abducted/tortured/starved/thirsted etc for 17 days in June by (2 dets, 2 sgts, 9+ deputies) without papers/warrant/judge from home.. none of the local or national media would cover it, none. Even though one of the deputies whole job was to stand in the neighbors yard with a video camera to record like CNN at Roger Stone's house. There's not even a way for us to know how many arrests and "disappeared's" are going on right now. Yet, alone a way to have a lawyers network, jail books, etc. Just "simple stuff" like who looks after your house/pet/family while "in a camp" courtesy of the Commies. AND no that's NOT any sort of larping/etc that's the very real reality going on, and has been going on... and dems are marching faster and faster. There is no time for a "rebranding" of the Republican Party into a real 3rd party.
The time to put in a sprinkler system, smoke alarm, or come up with an evacuation kit & plan, is not when the fire is starting/burning.
