He did. The ref stopped the fight because colby was down WHILE still intelligently defending himself, which is not a reason in the UFC rules for stopping a fight. Nevermind after only a few hits, which is absurd. A knock down because you are gassed is not the same as a proper hit, and turtling is a valid form of defense in that position. Also, fakenewsman faked an eyepoke and groin hit while doing it back to Colby so he could get his breath because Colby's pressure was too much for him in the three rounds.
I hate snoozeman the most though because he faked drama pretending he got hacked so he could get a fight with Connor who he was swooning over like a little girl.
Yeah no doubt snoozeman is a bitch. I watched the fight and honestly I don’t think it was a horrible stoppage....it was a damn good fight and they beat the shit out of each other and man was it close. I don’t think he got robbed badly (seen much worse) but would have liked to see the ref give him a little bit more time. It was definitely downhill when his jaw got broken.
That was one of the worst stoppages I've seen that wasn't a 'clear robbery'. If you fight, in some situations, turtling is literally just the best thing you can do especially given strikes to the back of the head are illegal. Stoppages like this have kind've ruined the sport a bit because now whenever someone knocks someone down they just hammerfist someone as fast as they can so it 'looks bad' to the ref and the ref jumps in. Reality is some of those strikes do nothing, but because they're so frequent it just looks bad and refs are more scared of being punished for stopping a fight too late than early. Old Triple cringe abused it a lot. Either way, outside of snoozeman getting the ref on his team and showing us his acting with the eyepokes the fight was really good, better than the masvidal match, and better than the last few khabib fights.
