People always bitched about the Alaska pipeline destroying wildlife. I moved here. Visited Fairbanks for the first time. Saw the pipeline on the side of the road. Was sorely disappointed by the lack of disrupted nature. The massive moose that almost destroyed my rental car didn’t seem to mind much either.
