I agree that it is a little too simple, but he makes an interesting point in that socialism always seems to need an enemy. I guess to blind their own people to the fact that they're giving up freedom.

Some dude on here called me a nazi for making the same point you are making, and even though it's true I've found it pointless to use the same argument in real life discussions. Now I just bait them into calling me a nazi and ask them if I look like a fucking socialist, much more effective.
