Look I want to give absolutely layman reasons why a new party needs to form. The reasons that follow are primarily a cultural mindset. I'll give a statement then my reasoning.

Democrats have successfully branded themselves the party of the working class. Although you reading this understand this is a lie and Democrats support a corporatism agenda the majority of people do not. Between the corruption from unions and the plight of illegal immigrants Republicans will not be able to contest this voter base.
Yes I know the $$$ here. I worked as a courier for a fundraising firm in DC I literally would grab checks worth 10s or 100s of thousands of dollars and deliver it to the DNC. IAFF biggest check I held for 250K to Hillarys Super PAC.

Both Dems and Republicans serve a central bank agenda that promotes debt slavery. Many of my contemporaries are heavily saddled with debt primarily student loans. A party that supports domestic ownership of property and land will drive down costs and allow those with large debts to still purchase property.
I dont support wiping out student debt. Hell I have 40K left of student loans but keeping interest rates at 0% and increasing tariffs on goods entering the country is a fair compromise. The extra money saved by the individual will be reinvested in the economy not a payment to the treasury.
To quickly summarize a new party that supports American workers and domestic ownership of property is needed. This party unites libertarians who want to be left alone, American workers who want the best wages and 401Ks, and even progressives who want free or affordable education.

Patriot Party isn't just a good idea, it's a necessary one. And it wouldn't even split the GOP - the GOP's already done that. We will continue to lose more to Marxists posing as Libertarians if we don't do something now.
Also - Elections are not a zero sum game - there isn't really a lot of participation in elections. If we can bring candidates that people can get excited over (instead of voting for the same lame-ass GOP politicians that pretend to be underdogs when they have a super-majority so they can go "muh evil democrats" and get NOTHING done) then we wouldn't even have to compete with the GOP - we would just bring in new voters.
The other guy in this thread who has run a third party in the past is right - this will be extremely difficult to pull off - but it's our only option. We have already tried to co-op the GOP twice. The Tea Party and then Trump - see where that got us ? They backstabbed us, and will continue to backstab us, and bleed us dry with taxes and wars over and over again until we decide we have had enough. The time for coddling the GOP in the hopes that they change is over.
We need to organize, form a coherent set of beliefs, and fundraise. Win the MAGA people, win the Independents, bring in some new voters, and we guarantee victory. If we do this in good time, we might just make the next elections.

I've created a 3rd party in college, we took half our seats first time out. I know how much work, time, money, training, recruiting, etc it takes.
Find me a single other person on this DOM that has created any sort of sucessful 3rd party (in the USA) to have a conversation/debate with.
