The pain never goes away, but the love she gave you never goes away either. You are here because she gave you life. My mom died almost 6 years ago and I still cry about it sometimes. More frequently, I get enormous amounts of joy that she was my mom. I'm getting choked up typing this to you right now. Mom's are something else. God bless moms.

My mom died a year and a half ago. It still hurts. But she's still here, too. Can't explain it really. But I know yours will stay with you, too.

Endured the recent loss of my mom too. The grief comes in waves. Very difficult.
It helps (and hurts) to remember the unique and funny stories. Put together a play list of songs she liked and that you remember hearing with her.
