I read that Mitch McConnell threatened to follow through on the impeachment if Trump pardoned anyone. It was in Trump’s best interest and ours if he had any hope of running again, which he would not be able to do if impeached. We cannot judge Trump on these things. I firmly believe that after January 6 Trump received credible threats from countries who never want to see him in office again, in other words China. I believe Trump loves his country, his dedicated supporters and truly grieves that over the past several months 2 of those supporters died. I know that the safety of his family is paramount to him, and if you don’t think so put yourself in his place. He has several children and grandchildren. He knows it wouldn’t be hard for China to get someone in here. After all they just have to come in through Mexico and walk across the unfinished section of the border wall (thanks to Biden defunding it).

The voters can’t remove anyone or drain the swamp. Just how many times could he use his “executive authority”? If he did that he wouldn’t have time to do anything else. Plus there wouldn’t be anybody left in Congress if he did that. The swamp is that deep.

He did more to improve the economy, decreasing unemployment for blacks to historic lows, fast tracked the vaccine for covid, put $ in our pockets, not chump change that Congress is giving us now, and on and on and on. Got to agree with you. From day one Trump should have gone through the federal level with a metaphorical chainsaw. Should have always appointed people from the business or civilian sector and refused a single politician for any role higher than a garbage man.
