How would a third party function in congress? Let’s imagine the Patriot party ends up larger than the Republican Party but smaller than the Democrat party.
I do think there is a substantial proportion of Republican voters who would not join the Trump party: maybe they're Republican For lower taxes, but involved in big global business, or want low wage immigrant workers, and are ok screwing the American working man.
I wonder what % they are. I don’t intend to be a concern troll. I do intend on avoiding communism, and we may need these losers to have enough votes / power to beat the Left.
Would the two right groups see eye to eye enough to beat the Left? Or would our fighting make easy wins for Leftism.
I've been thinking about this all morning, there can only be one president, you can't have two parties see eye-to-eye yet both put forward candidates.
If we had ranked-choice voting, then this would be viable, Patriot party and Republican Party with both throw in their votes for whoever would win, because sure as fuck none of us are going to vote liberal
