I bank in one of the branches of Fort Hood national Bank on occasion. Talked to one of the employees about upcoming namechange to Fort Hood. She showed me a slip that had the new 'named' as Fort Heroes National Bank. I didn't take a picture because didn't want to capture private info and endangerment and all that crap that everyone is on high alert for.
What do you guys think?

Military based named after confederate General, located in the fucking south, has to change its name cuz pc folks don't like it, last time I checked they hated military service

I think General Hood was overrated, but that's not the reason they're doing this.
I think Oceania is at war with East Asia. Eurasia is our ally. Eurasia has always been our ally.
Larger point everyone misses:
The North and South were reconciled after the war. They buried the hatchet. Cousins separated by war were reunited in peace. Worthy adversaries, being adversaries no more, were lauded for their bravery and leadership.
