I think more accurately people voted for him based on his special forces status. I love navy seals as much as the next guy and respect the hell out of them for doing and being able to do something few others can buuuut.....it is simply foolish to think that because he was a navy seal he would make a good representative of the people in government. Soon as I heard him support red flag laws he became persona non grata to me. I gave Trump a pass for the things he has said about guns in the past but nobody else gets that pass, ever. Rights are non-negotiable.
