Ted Cruz went to the RNC in 2016 and told everyone to basically vote for Hilary Clinton. Trump also called his wife ugly I think? (Not something Trump did that I agree with, but nobody's perfect).
But he reads the tea-leaves in Texas. They are even discussing secession (not that it'll happen, but shit at least they consider it). He knows he has to be pro-trump to continue his career (Shit, he barely beat beta orourk).
But, well, even if I think he secretly deep downs hates Trump and us, if he keeps voting the way we need him too, I'll support him.
ITs a really sad/depressing state of affairs when you basically said "he's probably a traitor that hates us, but hey if he mostly votes for what we want, thats just fine".
