Used to be that I respected the ideals of the military. Hell, I nearly joined when I got out of high school, but when I saw George W. Bush win, I knew we would be in a war in the Middle East in no time. In retrospect, it would've happened no matter if Bush or Gore had won, but at the time, I knew Bush was going to finish daddy's work in Iraq.
Afghanistan was (kinda) justified, but not to the extent we have dragged that shit out. Iraq was dummy made up bullshit.
I will not encourage my kids to serve. We are only one election away from your kids dying in a foreign war that doesn't mean anything and is only meant to make the rich military contractors even richer.
I’d bet money we do a limp dicked invasion of NK and he lets CHYNA push us into the sea on the far side of South Korea.
Yemen is most likely next. We've already been helping the Saudis starve the poor Yemenis to death. John Bolton and John Brennan figure we might as well bomb the poor bastards.
The establishment likes picking soft targets. The purpose is to just siphon money and get benefits along the way. It's why they wanted to go into Syria so badly. Keep huge expenses on weapons + the ability to control pipelines in the area.
The willingness to go to war in Syria for a pipeline but then cancelling the Keystone one on day 1 is a perfect example of "America Last".
30 days until we're in a new war.

I’d be bailing out of the infantry ASAP. Ain’t no way I’d die for the chief thief.

Afghanistan was to oust the Taliban government when had made growing/manufacturing opium illegal. It had nothing to do with terrorism.

We have always been at war with Eastasia
Correction. We are at war with Eurasia. We have always been at war with Eurasia.
I dont think it'll be that soon, but I bet before the years out we got boots on ground in either Iran or Syria.
Agreed. Got to keep the powerful in power. Fuck the rest of us.
