I absolutely see this gaining momentum. I remember when this took off under the Obama years. It is sadly one of the last options we have, which is again another reason why the Founders/Framers were geniuses.
It's worth noting that back in 2016 every candidate, including Trump, had positive things to say about CoS at some point. (The nod to the CoS during Trump's 2016 acceptance speech is when I knew he'd win Mark Levine over...And he did!) We had 4 years of a rough half-peace. (I say "half-peace" because in some ways, although we know what's at stake and we know we're not alone, the left has been pushing harder and harder and making us miserable all this time.) We know what America can be, and that we can very quickly lose it.
I think the CoS is going to take off like a rocket now.
