As one who has been sitting on this subject for years, I can say this is impossible. The Convention has to be called for specific reasons by over 30 state legislatures in writing. And after that it takes 38 states to ratify.
You are not going to get 34 states to demand abolishing the Constitution, much less 38 to ratify.

From my understanding states petition to add an amendment in this case, not to review the entirety of the constitution. But maybe I'm mistaken.
