Boycotting helped give birth to this nation. It will help keep us free!

Giving up prime shipping has been inconvenient to be sure.

But these free speech killing bastards will not get another dime from me.

i USED to love prime, but that next day shipping turned into 2-5 day shipping real quick.

besides, we survived with normal shipping before. we can again

Absolutely, the true price of the cheap goods and convenience is the loss of our freedom and liberty. That's a price that's too high to pay for. I cancelled my Amazon prime account and am not going back. They are irrelevant now just like you say.

I always do this. Sometimes it is actually cheaper!

it cuts out the middle man. ;)

Unrelated, hundred bucks for a splitter that has a ring preventing larger logs from being used, vs a $20 steel wedge and a sledgehammer? 🤔

3
luketheuke 3 points ago +3 / -0

This seems to be for making kindling. Presumably from already split wood.

4
ChrisTheSoberITGuy 4 points ago +4 / -0

Even worse IMO, then you just need a hatchet lol

3
HuggableBear 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah, this thing is different than just a splitter. It's like an apple slicer but for wood.

God help you if you aren't using seasoned, dried hardwood, though. Then it just gets lodged.

It's a gimmicky product that works well in promotional videos but is awful in practice. If you need kindling and you have wood that will work in this thing, you can split the kindling off with a hatchet just as fast.

Good to hear from actual experience. I am skeptical of uni-tasker gizmos. A hatchet or batoning with a stout blade seems more practical.

We can do this guys. The truth is we are the majority. I honestly think Trump has atleast 80 million real votes and biden has at most 40 mil real votes.

That's an America that's made up of 2/3 patriots. Imagine the economic destruction we can do to china. Americans are the kingmakers of economic growth for other countries. We are the customers and we make the final buying decision.

If we band together and stop buying Chinese goods or only buy second hand goods, their economy will tank. They need our money to continue funding their war against us.

No country can replace our purchasing power. They will be crush within a year if we spread and continue this movement.

Here's a comprehensive plan of the actions we can take: [https://communities.win/c/GreatAwakening/p/11S13qH8Ux/we-will-not-let-america-fall-her/]

Protip: you can also grab a copy of the item picture, then use tineye.com to see who else sells it (just be careful that you don't end up on a site full of Chinesium.)

FYI I bought that product before it doesn't work. I can more easily split wood with my bare hand

Wow thanks for letting me know. I was gonna get it as a gift for a family member.

Screw Amazon. I wish more manufacturers would sell their product direct for a fair price.

Emphasis on that last part. Too often I see the same product on the manufacturer's site at a higher price or with (often expensive) shipping not included while Amazon offers free shipping, only for them to ship slower than Amazon, as well as Amazon offering a better return policy. (yes some people abuse it, but its nice to have)

I understand that in contracts with Amazon I'm pretty sure sellers are not allowed to sell on their own sites for a lower price (evil Amazon) but come on, just sell the item for the exact same price on your own site and I'll gladly buy it from there instead. It's a case of help me help you.

The killer is shipping. They can ship a 10 pound package for like $5 when it would cost a small company $20.

I've been doing this, or going there just for the reviews and info and going to a local shop to buy the item.

Bezos can suck it.

Amazon is great for looking up products, or finding something when you don't know what products are available. Use them for research, then track down the manufacturer or buy from another platform. Its working great for me. Thanks, Amazon!

I'd actually like to know why they have like 200 photos of that.

And shipping (if purchased through private sellers) is typically faster than Amazon's free shipping

Typically, when private sellers sell something, they send it using one carrier. For instance USPS First-Class Mail is the cheapest option out there (when comparing rates without service contracts) for packages <16 oz and all USPS services are airmail services (unless you explicitly pay for "ground" mail) so stuff often gets to you quicker than, say, UPS Ground, which is all ground. And then there's Amazon, which is (likely) also an all-ground service, or very slow for free shipping, in my experience

How do you find the supplier on Amazon? Products I want it doesn’t list the supplier

2
muddobber 2 points ago +2 / -0

Also the ebay stores (not the auctions). cheaper and you are better protected. Go to ebay page click advance search and type in item you want. hundreds of stores come up with you item.

As far as company ethics go, ebay is no better than Amazon. But yes, sometimes items are cheaper there. So if you must buy from ebay or amazon I just do it based on price alone and no "moral" considerations.
