Idk about Ethnocentric but culture-centric is something to talk about. If people from around the world share our ideas and are willing and able to accept our American culture, like the Hong Kong protestors waving American flags, should be able to immigrate and have citizenship over a white communist from Germany that wants to destroy our culture.

The reason for your trepidation towards “ethnocentric nationalism” is due to cradle-to-grave propaganda and this romantic egalitarian sentiment that denies the biological substratum, genetic legacy, of human groups and embraces this fairytale that we are all born as blank slates or empty vessels.
Notice that even your idea of “America” is now just an abstraction, it is now just an affiliation or club that anyone can belong to. This is no accident, it is a consequence of deliberate changes to language and education, and has huge consequences because it means the commitment is to an abstraction and not to actual people—this is how the disenfranchisement and replacement of an entire people happens, one simply denies they have any unique claim to their nation. A nation is a people who have their own interests and a government is to serve the interests of the people, not abstractions. Let me point to Europe to make it easier for you to understand, what has already happened to America two generations ago is now underway in Europe: Now the understanding of being Swedish is transforming from being a distinct ethnic group to simply someone who has citizenship. But the memory is still fresh in everyone’s mind that being,ie, Polish meant both being belonging to a particular ethnic-cultural group and member of a nation.
Regarding cooperative ethnocentric nationalism their is hard science and empirical data the demonstrates it is the most evolutionary adaptive group approach for long term survival and harmony.
Btw, sure, a society of high-IQ East Asians will be functionally much healthier but what about the white population, which has a lower IQ and different cultural norms? How does it serve their interests? Look at Vancouver, Canada and some of the US cities on the West coast. The high-IQ Asians form an elite and have pushed out whites.

Anyone know how to de-register off of the Republican party in texas? I can find where to update name/address/name change, but party affiliation is not easily located.

I just changed my 34 year afiliation with the GOP to "OTHER."
Still makes me sad, but anger growing at those who killed the party.
