Most lefties don't know the pipeline is built and fully operational. This is one section of it we already signed binding contracts to complete with companies. It will cost 10's of millions if not more to back out.

All they will see is news flash: Oil pipe cancelled. It was bad for indians and ground nesting birds.

That's all that want is the headline.
