I watched the interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJCugtAd6pg the other day and saw real time the mod who is still here in the chat as well and there was some discourse between them in real time with the guy who left addressing things that were being said in the chat.

I felt strongly and still do that the reason that the owner of the domain name who left, did not want to give it up specifically because of the worry over others attempting to cash in on the valuation of the site. He did not come out and say this but it seemed unspoken.

He appeared to be troubled over the sites code not being accessible to anyone but the mod who wrote it who is not a US resident and is located outside of the US.

He said that he would give it to one specific mod who did not want the burden and feared all others would turn the site over to the person he has discourse with. That being said, the stickied post says only that he said he would give it to someone specific and did not. That was not what I saw and heard on that full hour long interview. There is clearly a lot more that has not been covered in that stickied post just based on what the mod that left had to say.

I, for my vote, whatever that is worth think that more clarification would be great. There was a post stating that any major changes should be viewed as proof of a compromised site 3 days ago and I don't understand what my password or anyone's would have to do with verifying that if the site was simply taken over or access granted to whatever agency it would be.
