No, they said if you were logged out, that was bad. And that the new site would likely blindly accept the first password provided. I was not logged out. My browser does not remember passwords, so it could not have logged me back in. Or... It's all bullshit and it's been compromised for a while already. Probably back when that 'hold the line' lie started.
the cookie is still valid, which means that the front end hosts are the same, the back end db is the same. URL may be different, but everything else is the same. Even the ssl cert is the same.
Yep. The fact the domain changed and SSL didn't freak out is a good thing. To every pede that doesn't know what that means... it means a ton of extremely annoying extra measures on your computer designed to warn you if something's amiss, aren't ringing. And trust me, they got super annoying the past 2 years. So I feel safe. The token is still valid, the cert is good, AND the domain name changed... even the most secure site will freak out if you change a domain name, unless you've set up a line of trust. Well it looks like they setup a line of trust. So there.

Why not have like a quarntine area where posts made by handshakers are sent automatically until they are approved (by upvotes) by the community? Also may I suggest that users with high karma (you decide the threshold based on stats) can send post immediately to quarantine.
I second this. Even a group for individuals over a certain karma threshold that can be easily identified with the ability to approve posts from "new users" to help the mods with the load.
This does sound like a good idea but there would need to be a post review to make sure that there aren’t outside actors creating accounts, getting easy karma with “<—— this many pedes hate Biden” and then using the status to censor real information which needs to get out. Perhaps flagged posts are hidden until approved by five randomly selected people with high karma can also review and the majority wins?

Either your 5 or mods could correct the situation. I think any high karma person hiding legitimate posts could easily be identified and handled by mods. Especially if it frees up the extra shill work.
I don't like that. I hated reddit because I couldn't post anything because I didn't have karma, but my account was 5 years old. I also couldn't get karma because I wasn't able to post on threads I was passionate about and I wasn't gay enough to farm karma to post on them. Don't be a lib and take away peoples voices..
A possible idea.. handshakes accounts post ...1-5 deports locks the account and hides the post and all further posts pending a moderator (which you would plead your case (to lessen the amount mods will have to review( because most people that don't care about the thread won't fill out a rebuttle))) then the mod can decide to allow or permanently ban. Now you can use the handshake symbol as a karma hurdle ( 1000 karma to take off your handshake icon) at which you require more deports to face the mods (10 deports on a single post) and have another icon for 10,000 karma making it even harder to silence you (15 deports) that way it makes it harder for bots to make your thread ghost and also you can reward your members with dumb ass icons to increase discussions and debates. We can also have people with higher levels be able to see ghosted posts and vote (5 votes unhides the ghosted post) that way the mods don't have to work as much and if it gets deported again then a mod has to deal with it. We can also choose to deport obvious karma farmers to not mess with the way things are ran.This is kinda off the top of my head feel free to expand ( sorry if its a hard read im super dyslexic)
