Two women a local cop and a marshals came.

They started off by saying now he want you to know it’s not a crime to be at the capital... that was their first sentence off the bat.

My wife and I never made it to the capital because she’s pregnant and got very sick about halfway through the president speaking around 1245 we left for our parking garage because she couldn’t stand any longer so we had to pretty much explain every single movement we made from leaving the rally to arriving at our hotel at 2:45. We spent about an hour driving around trying to find a gas station because we were on empty from driving from Massachusetts so I provided my gas receipt with the time on it and then I provided my hotel information and the time I checked in.

It went pretty quick I’m hoping they don’t come back But someone seriously said that my wife and I were inside the capital and we were bragging online that we were selling the computer.

Which nothing of the sort ever happen they’re following up on every lead because anyone can make a complaint on somebody online.

I made sure to give her only very simple answers and not lead into anything she was saying because she kept on repeating it’s not illegal to be at the capital but my point was great I get it it’s not illegal to be at the capital but by the time we made it over to our hotel they were brigades up everywhere and cops throughout all the streets there is no getting to the capital and we weren’t even trying anyway and left it at that.

No I get that especially since it was the first thing she said but the truth is I never got three blocks from the capital I wonder how many others are visiting. No I get that especially since it was the first thing she said but the truth is I never got three blocks from the capital. My father was pisses yesterday when they knocked on his door like the swat team & said find him yourself 🤣 I love my dad.. My mailing address is his house. He thought I was going away

They're not concerned by the truth, which is why you don't talk to them to begin with.

Visiting parents first seems the be pretty common. I'm guessing it's probably people who know the parents but not the kids.

They already got the person allegedly responsible for taking Nancy's laptop. A 22-year-old. I forgot the full name, but the middle name was June.

If you read the bench warrant (?) for Jayden X, you'll see just how far out they set the no-go perimeter around the Capitol, and just what the cowards have passed into law about the public entering the people's building (let alone the chambers).

If they wanted to go full Stasi, they could argue that anyone who was on the Capitol steps was inside the Capitol no-go perimeter (c.f. Jayden X's warrant) and could be charged.

I wouldn't have spoken to them at all.

Never talk to the police/fbi about anything without a lawyer present. Someone posted a video on here just last week that explains why. It doesn't matter how innocent you truly are. Their job is to prosecute. Your job is to not incriminate yourself. They are very, very good and finding ways to nail you to the wall. You are not very, very good and keeping that from happening. Don't talk. Always plead the 5th. The idea that pleading the 5th makes you seem guilty is a load of crap. DO NOT EVER TALK TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OF ANY KIND WITHOUT FIRST HAVING A COMPETENT LAWYER PRESENT.

51
PoorMansPsychiatrist 51 points ago +51 / -0

Yes! The video said that the police can "misremember" (lie) about the convo so it's your word against theirs. Who do you think they will believe? That did it for me.

I_Love_45-70_Gov 17 points ago +18 / -1

Plead the 5th; go a 10 minute diatribe on why you are awesome and Patriots are horrible; plead the 5th again...the Lois Lerner way... FBI are proven communists...top down, rank and file.

sfmaga 7 points ago +7 / -0

Could he seriously have absolutely refused to talk to them?

I mean, what's to stop them from making up "laws" on the spot? Then it turns into having to prove police/fbi did something illegal. I saw the whole video lecture, and kept wondering about situations such as where cops say something like "if you don't do this, I'm going to have to arrest you".

5
MrQuacker2020 5 points ago +5 / -0

What do you mean? I mean seriously, how do you want the public to see you? As some kind of dishonest monster who committed a heinous act because you were filled with evil? How do you think your family will view you?

Look, my only job is to help you out. If you're honest with me I'll be straight with you. We can help you, but only if you're willing to help yourself.

Re-watch that video about not speaking to the Commies. The Police State are not here to help.

11
hansgruber7 11 points ago +11 / -0

I wouldn't talk to them because they could try to get you with a perjury trap. Look what they did to Flynn.

5
Nunya__Biznus 5 points ago +5 / -0

This whole episode is disgusting. An anonymous tip is hearsay. If they have no evidence that you committed any crime whatsoever, then they should be told to go sodomize themselves with their Nazi jackboots.

3
Farage_massage 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is why they did it. And it worked.

26
Slenderman 26 points ago +26 / -0

They keep repeating it's not illegal to get you to incriminate yourself with your own words.

2
SnowflakeJuice 2 points ago +2 / -0

FBI police should not be allowed to lie. They need to be held to the same standards as anyone else

19
suckmycorona 19 points ago +19 / -0

Did you ask the names of your accuser?

34
Meganon17 [S] 34 points ago +34 / -0

They said they can’t do that but they showed me the screen shot of a conversation I had with a friend that was saying people had gone inside and took computers

But everyone knows that! I never said I went In or I knew someone that went it

23
Jabron661 23 points ago +23 / -0

Brother, I know this was stressful, but you really, really should not have said anything to them, and asked them to leave. You gained nothing by acknowledging them and whatever "evidence" they might have showed you. They can show you anything they want, whether you were involved with what they were showing you.

Every word they say is an attempt to get you to say something they can use, EVERY single thing. If they showed you a screen shot and you admitted it was you, you literally just confessed to anything they say that conversation meant, and they can later say its a crime and you admitted to it.

Remember, these are your rights, not theirs. If they want to get you, it won't be because you refused to talk to them, only if you DO talk to them.

If they can charge you with a crime, they will, but then they have to prove it to a judge or jury, and if they don't have anything from you to use against you, as they will try to portray it as such.

The only time you have to answer questions is at trial, and even then you can still invoke your fifth amendment rights in trial.

The time to defend yourself is not when the police are at your house, its at a trial, saying anything to defend yourself before then is just a risk to you.

As others have said, never talk to the police, other than to calmly communicate your desire for them to leave. Don't get angry, don't get agitated, don't get nervous and blurt out anything, keep your cool.

Also, record and video the entire interaction, and let them know they are being recorded and will continue to be recorded, but don't accuse them of anything, or react with anger if they ask you to stop.

hansgruber7 12 points ago +12 / -0

Should have asked for proof you did anything wrong then asked them to leave

8
Jabron661 8 points ago +8 / -0

Evidence is for trials, not for shakedowns, I would not even ask them for that.

Simply put, tell them you don't answer questions, and request they leave your property immediately, but again, no shouting, no ranting, no sudden moves. Be polite as you can be, but don't give them any justification to restrain you or worse.
