Brother, I know this was stressful, but you really, really should not have said anything to them, and asked them to leave. You gained nothing by acknowledging them and whatever "evidence" they might have showed you. They can show you anything they want, whether you were involved with what they were showing you.

Every word they say is an attempt to get you to say something they can use, EVERY single thing. If they showed you a screen shot and you admitted it was you, you literally just confessed to anything they say that conversation meant, and they can later say its a crime and you admitted to it.

Remember, these are your rights, not theirs. If they want to get you, it won't be because you refused to talk to them, only if you DO talk to them.

If they can charge you with a crime, they will, but then they have to prove it to a judge or jury, and if they don't have anything from you to use against you, as they will try to portray it as such.

The only time you have to answer questions is at trial, and even then you can still invoke your fifth amendment rights in trial.

The time to defend yourself is not when the police are at your house, its at a trial, saying anything to defend yourself before then is just a risk to you.

As others have said, never talk to the police, other than to calmly communicate your desire for them to leave. Don't get angry, don't get agitated, don't get nervous and blurt out anything, keep your cool.

Also, record and video the entire interaction, and let them know they are being recorded and will continue to be recorded, but don't accuse them of anything, or react with anger if they ask you to stop.
