all he did was buy the domain and didn't contribute anything else It was a massively cuck move.
Dead on balls.
Remember that this community is all volunteers. None of us are getting that sweet russian bot money (trust me I asked). This dude worked along side the mods and the rest of us for years, and then decided to cuck out and talk to the WSJ so he could feel important.
Imagine betraying your frens for that. Lowest circle of hell.
The domain is the name you type into your browser to view the site. Think of it like the telephone number. The site is the person you're actually talking to. All that has happened is someone stole the telephone number so they've switched to a new one. Nothing of who you are talking to has changed.
Apparently he is; it's just the DNS system is a bit slow, so the redirect hasn't propagated to all parts of the world yet. Check again in 24 hours and you'll probably see.
I'm using Cloudflare DNS, and flush'ed DNS, so I'm 100% up to date. Just trying to get to the bottom of this, because the story they are telling us isn't making sense. We need honesty and truth. If there's some backend drama, tell us the truth. If the site is now a honeypot, we need to figure that out.
is the guy that cock-blocked the old URL mad that you changed to patriots.win?
Seems so.
Ironic considering all he did was buy the domain and didn't contribute anything else. Seems like a cuck move on his part.

This is the season of betrayals.
Check his bank accounts for a recent deposit from Open Societies Foundation...
He'll eventually get to hang out with Judas, I mean Pence, there.
Sure was
Childish. You guys did the right thing.
How were you guys able to set up a redirect if you don't control the old site? Why does everything look the same is it just copy pasted code?
Should I get my tin foil hat and log off both for good?

Owning a domain name require about 9 dollars and 9 points of IQ.
The site is separate and they had and have control of it. They can put up any redirect they want.
a domain is just a link to a server, the server is still the same
Then why isn't he re-directing to a new IP?
Apparently he is; it's just the DNS system is a bit slow, so the redirect hasn't propagated to all parts of the world yet. Check again in 24 hours and you'll probably see.

the old URL forwards me here
is it supposed to be like that?
Yes
The redirect hasn't taken hold yet, it's probably going to be gone by tomorrow morning
He didn't block the URL.
Mods are moving the site without that being a thing
