no what's funny about the left and their talk of cults of personality and tribalism is that they are more guilty of it than anyone. of course it exists on the right, like no shit, it doesn't even require a moment of thought to see it and know it. and of course this movement is bigger than trump. trump didn't give conservatives the idea of building a wall, they already had it. he didn't give us the idea that america is being ripped off by other countries, we already knew it. he just tapped in to a group of people who were being completely ignored and not represented, but who existed before he ran for president.
of course.
but also, someone smart would recognize that "Trump" itself has become bigger than Trump. "Trump" is now a symbol for everything those people believed in and were ignored for, because he was the first one to come around and say 'hey these people are right and i want to represent them', and then he was taken down by the govt elites, death by 1million cuts. they hamstringed his term with a phony mueller thing that was predicated on a complete sham of an FBI investigation that was based on a dossier that they knew was phony and paid for by clinton.
they lied cheated and stole to fight him and they finally won, but in a sense they made him into a martyr while he's still alive. he's a living legend because of how, to some degree inadvertently, he opened all of our eyes. the corruption was worse than we could've even imagined. before trump i had no idea the FBI was THIS BAD. i never would've imagined they would actively spy on a presidential campaign, or at least I wouldn't have assumed it. but Trump doing what he did showed us a lot about the world. his name is synonymous with this movement now, whether you like it or not.
