They think the reason for the problems in America is racial. It's not. Statistically, it's the breakdown of the family. Civil War isn't going to get men to shoulder the responsibilities of marriage and children, nor is it going to convince women that motherhood is a good and noble thing.
As a Catholic, I'd also the problem is spiritual. We're living through a chastisement of our own making because way too many Americans think they can redesign humanity but God has already designed us to be the image of Him.

Fair enough, but you're ignoring well established facts that the breakdown of the family is a deliberate strategy.
Jesus taught a parable including the words "an enemy has done this."
I'm not suggesting this phenomenon is the culmination of the parable of the wheat and the tares - all Judgment has been given to the Son.
I am suggesting it's time to pray for the days to be shortened.
