don't really care if it's written in php, but how do you know it's not?

Because I've written code thats been deployed to Win before and it was not in PHP.

although I'm pretty sure the physical servers I run from my home are not.

Yeah, your physical home servers sure, but the entire internet doesn't run off your home server. You have to connect to other servers which requires a leap of faith that they're not honey pots. Easier to just assume it's tracked/traced/logged/spied on by default

And even then pretty sure wikileaks/snowden showed that pretty much all tech has backdoors built into the hardware level

However, if you are more worried about the risk of some "Antifa butt boy" finding and doxxing you than the FBI or CIA then you're not very intelligent.

Avoiding being doxxed is just smart. Doing what you can to minimise that risk is the intelligent thing to do

For most of the people here, it would be relatively easy for an investigator to identify them based on information only available to the mysterious tech mod.

Possibly. But going off what the mods have reported, they don't store raw IP addresses (they're hashed) and you can sign up without an email. Pretty close to an A rating in terms of not collecting information

Yes but none of these are new risks on the internet. They’re unavoidable.

So far the Win team have proven to be nothing but solid. That counts for a lot in a sea o betrayals.
