After a couple weeks of dithering about Amazon membership and setting a quit date for mid-February, I up and cancelled everything just now. No prime membership anymore, removed my cards as payment info, and i'll delete the apps from my phone in a couple minutes.

I was always taught that to succeed in business, you have to sell to everyone. If you get political, you alienate a potential market. Well, Amazon got political, and my family and I will take our money elsewhere. At the same time, we're trying to make efforts to buy American whenever possible - THAT is going to be a harder uphill battle.
