I've been on Bitchute for the most part for a couple of months, and it's pretty good. Just a few personalities haven't made a presence there, like Academic Agent, and Vox Day. And I do miss the glut of how-to videos, but otherwise, all the folks whose opinions I value are there.
The problem with bitchute is on the creator side. Uploading videos is a massive ordeal. It gets stuck frequently and you can't tell whether it's still working or you need to cancel it and try again. This will go on for hours and sometimes days depending on how large your file is. I can see how it would be a big problem for someone who uploads daily. Apparently, it's been a problem for at least a year. If they could get that under control, I think more creators would consider joining. Otherwise, I think it's a pretty decent alternative.
