Voting the bums out of office, from a newly formed political party, no less...will be a hard sell.

  • 2022 and 2024...that's a lot of time under the current regime
  • Third parties are shut out via many mechanisms
  • Voting, well let me tell you about voting...

A third party is about agreeing on a platform, solidifying your political base, and controlling the money. Voting is just one way you can achieve those aims. There is nothing that says you can't support the candidate from a larger party or even work together.

Sitting down and playing poker with known and proven cheaters is foolish. In the Old West, that's when the shooting usually starts.

This isn't about politics anymore - this is about having our government taken over by foreign interests in addition to having our representatives and courts no longer represent us.

To continue your metaphor, I’m talking about a private table where you know the people you’re playing with, not giving your chips away to someone that is a known hack and proven backstabbing party.

Also you don’t get leverage by walking out of the room, you force them to the table and make them play by the rules. And when they don’t, call them out loudly so everyone in the building knows they are cheaters. Trump was good for that at least.

It is a hard sell but look at it this way, us no longer supporting the establishment GOP will literally not allow them to win; Dems will be Dems and the GOP needs us more than we need them. It stings a lot more when the people you trusted betray you versus the people being exactly like you predicted them to be. Donald Trump starting the patriot party WILL allow the likes of Jimmy Dore to have the balls of starting their own party fracturing the DNC even further.

The only way forward now in my opinion is to fracture both parties. Donald Trump is high profile enough and with 74+ million people behind him will ensue panic across the political field with a new party.

Voting for the same GOP/RNC is like going back to a cheating wife and raising kids that you found out were biologically not yours when you were told that they were yours to begin with.

People are still not up against the wall enough to realize it's shoot or submit. They will be corrected by time.

It's just a matter of a trigger point now. I pray we keep to the moral high ground for our own sakes.
