Lets talk about privacy
Big Tech hates you and wants to destroy you. Don't give them any advantage. This post will cover some tools and steps to help provide you with better online privacy and security. Some are simple and others are drastic. The goal is to provide a comprehensive list of useful links so you can make your own choice on what steps, if any, you take to burrow into online obscurity.

The above link gives you a good start to browsing the web with some privacy and security.
Web Browsers:
Chromium-based:
- Brave (https://brave.com/): Most recommended. Privacy, security and crypto.
- Opera (https://www.opera.com/): Built-in VPN and ad blocker.
- Vivaldi (https://vivaldi.com/): Minimalist, built-in tracker block and ad block.
- Iridium (https://iridiumbrowser.de): Privacy focused
- Edge (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge): Big Tech. It's fast and has support for most chromium-based extensions listed below; the above options are a better choice. But if you're already using Windows OS....
Mozilla:
- FireFox (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/): The once great browser cucked out. Has support for all the extensions listed below, but is slow and is run by libshit asshats who hate you. Not recommended.
Good Browser Extensions to Use:
- Ublock Origin (https://ublockorigin.com/): Open-source content blocker (adblock)
- DecentralEyes(https://decentraleyes.org/): CDN (Content Delivery Network) to secure web-traffic and improve privacy
- Privacy Badger (https://privacybadger.org/): Blocks invisible trackers based on their persistence through webpages.
- Privacy Possum (https://github.com/cowlicks/privacypossum/blob/master/README.md): Purposely injects disinformation into trackers to obscure your web activity. Available for FireFox and WIP for chromium-based. Keep an eye out for the chromium-based version release.
- HTTPS Everywhere (https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere): Forced website encryption using HTTPS.
- VPNs (Virtual Private Network): VPNs send your internet connection through proxy server(s) to anonymize your location and activity. Your ISP can still see your location and activity, but at least most of big tech won't. There are a lot of good choices for VPN and most of them require a subscription fee. I'll leave it up to you to find one that is suitable for your needs. Look at reviews of each and weigh pros on cons to your specific usage.

How to get off big tech:
First and foremost for each, delete your account data, and/or obscure your information before deleting each account. Many of these services allow you to download your data to review it, if you would like. Granted, I don't use most of these, so I am pulling links I've found of what appears to be an accurate way to delete and close out an account.
- Facebook (https://archive.is/L0vPU): How-to delete your data
- Instagram (https://gramload.com/how-to-delete-your-instagram-account-and-data/)
- Google (https://pixelprivacy.com/resources/erasing-google-history/)
- Apple (https://archive.vn/lag88): How-to delete your data
- Microsoft (https://archive.is/H6tQx): delete local account data, then delete your Microsoft account (https://archive.is/nZby0).
- Twitter (https://archive.vn/wkQaw)
- Netflix (https://archive.vn/5NjzZ): Remove viewing history. Netflix requires you email them to fully delete account data (https://archive.vn/B7OVu)
- Amazon (https://archive.vn/5SztK): Remove account info, close account.
- Pinterest (https://archive.vn/lzIx1)
- Paypal (https://archive.vn/41Cay)
- Patreon (https://archive.vn/V4RWi)
- GoFundMe (https://archive.vn/j35cf)
- Reddit(LOL if you still have a reddit account. Delete your posts first if you do, then delete account)
Big Tech Alternatives:
- TheDonald (https://thedonald.win): Obviously. The tip of the spear for free speech and all things MAGA. Because Trump won, BY A LOT.
- Communities (https://communities.win): Created by the same mods=gods as TDW. Free and fair, organized forums that will force plebbit Reddit to die in darkness. Growing non-political communities.
- Gab (https://gab.com/): Social Media to replace Twitter. Speak Freely.
- Parler (currently down): Twitter alternative. It will be back.
- Bitchute (https://www.bitchute.com/): Video streaming service that many use to mirror their Youtube videos already.
- MAGA Image host (https://maga.win/): Free image host service created by TDW user u/Jesus/
- MAGA Video host (https://maga.host/): Free video host service created by TDW devs.
- ProtonMail (https://protonmail.com/): Encrypted, open-source email service provider for privacy and security.
- Telegram (https://telegram.org/): Encrypted messenger app, group-based chat.
- Signal (https://www.signal.org/): Encrypted messenger app, group-based chat.
- MeWe (https://mewe.com/): Non-invasive social network. No ads or spyware. Based in California.
- Epik (https://www.epik.com/): Web-hosting service that won't arbitrarily shut your business down.
- SubscribeStar (https://www.subscribestar.com/): Be a content creator or make some of that alt-cash without being censored like on Patreon or GoFundMe.
- Youtube Vanced for Android (https://vancedapp.com/): Still need to go on Youtube for some reason? Block all their ads with this proxy app. Don't give them ad money.
The StaceyAbrams steps:
Get off:
Windows OS, MacOS, Android, and iOS (That means the iPhone has to go, jailBreaking still runs iOS services).
Get on:
- Linux (https://www.linux.org/pages/download/): free and open-source OS to replace desktop OS.
There's a bunch of variations of Linux OS and all depend on your needs. Requires your research. - Root your Android phone (https://www.androidcentral.com/root): pros and cons to this. Gets Google out of your life.
- Tor (https://www.torproject.org/): The most secure and private way to explore the internet. There are pros and cons to this, some of the cons being criminal activity occurs here due to its anonymity and encryption.
- Then there's obviously cryptocurrency, a huge and broad subject of decentralized currency that will require your own individual research.
Hopefully some of the items and tools on this list will help someone take back their privacy. Big tech has power and influence because we give them our time and money. No more.
