NOW will you fuckers vote him out!? πŸ™„

catatonic_frog 60 points ago +60 / -0

I'm sure he's already planning on retiring after this term. Hence why he can fully drop the mask McCain style.

27
TearofLys 27 points ago +27 / -0

Hopefully he will perfectly follow in McStain's footsteps and die before his term is over.

25
MuhFreeStuff 25 points ago +25 / -0

That's exactly it!

10
NighT93 10 points ago +10 / -0

I fully expect Mitch & Pelosi to retire in 2024.

15
YesMan 15 points ago +15 / -0

Pelosi will never retire. She will hold on to that power until she's forcibly removed

9
OlLadyPede 9 points ago +9 / -0

They, like McCain, will cling to power as their body literally decays around them

5
CJ52 5 points ago +5 / -0

Pelosi will be just like RBG, appointed for life.... her constituents' brains are stuck in first gear.

They'll prop her up and roll her around until AOC graduates from Pullups to Depends..... then she'll take over.

TheMadManDidItAgain 5 points ago +5 / -0

The guy is more addicted to power than we are addicted to hopium... He'll be running again.

3
OptimusPrime 3 points ago +3 / -0

Then recall him.

AppalachianTactical 18 points ago +18 / -0

He is rigged in. He likely hasnt been elected fairly (with the exception of this last election ironically) for years. Uniparty establishment rigged for McConnell and Beshear. You can watch real time vote flips recorded from Beshears election on the news.

5
generated_name 5 points ago +5 / -0

Trump campaigned for him, many people here were supportive of him, he got tons of donation money, and at the time, it made sense to support him because pretty much everyone expected him to support Trump.

We can't blame it all on rigged elections. He could have easily won legitimately.

4
AppalachianTactical 4 points ago +4 / -0

That is why I said he likely did win this last election. He has been in office forever. Because Trump campaigned for him was why I held my nose in 2020 and voted for him.

Previously I have been actively working against Mitch. He is a shitty politician.

Sorry, I didn't catch that for whatever reason.

Mitch doesn't need to cheat to win though, but if ever needed they would

1
AppalachianTactical 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't know. He has been pretty despised. I had never voted for him before this round despite voting GOP.

I think if Beshear had the ability to vote flip than every anointed Kentucky politician did. Beshears dad was governer too so he has establishment ties like Mitch.

Ive always voted for Rand though.

Can't for 6 years.

If voting ever matters again maybe people will take primaries more serious.

Didn't we literally just see votes not matter?

32
OnlyTrump20 32 points ago +32 / -0

They need to launch a recall campaign as he doesn't represent the people of KY.

9
Rainman 9 points ago +10 / -1

Especially now that he doesn't give a shit, he's obviously going to retire after his current term is up

5
leeloo 5 points ago +5 / -0

I was thinking of that same thing today, as I was composing my "fuck you" on the Republican mailer that was begging for money. They still have the balls to have Trump's name on it, with his picture on the inside!

can they do that? just recall him and hold a special election?

Mitch needs to realize that despite what his Twitter handle says, he is not the leader of the Republican Party. Donald Trump is.

7
FreedomSteak 7 points ago +7 / -0

Until he forms the patriot party. Then he is the head of two parties.

5
FreedomSteak 5 points ago +5 / -0

Two scoops, two parties, four terms XD

10
PrimaryRINOs 10 points ago +10 / -0

At least this is something. I really don't know much more they can do. I think the only way to get rid of McConnell is for him to be impeached, but I'm not sure if that's correct or not. Not sure if US Senators can be impeached or not.

Where in the world did you find that? πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€£

6
Ed_Ward 6 points ago +6 / -0

So what exactly does censuring do?

11
consumptiveballerina 11 points ago +11 / -0

Boops him on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper and says "NO."

7
N900mixalot 7 points ago +7 / -0

The local party censured him. The state level party will take up the issue this weekend.

https://www.kystandard.com/content/nelson-gop-censures-mcconnell

Pay attention to the last paragraphs. It is the CALLS and contacts that have prompted them to act but they are saying that some of them are threatening and violent. That shit isn't going to work so keep it clean, "Would you use those words in front of your grandma?"

3
generated_name 3 points ago +3 / -0

From Wikipedia about senatorial censures:

Censure is a formal statement of disapproval. ... is less severe than expulsion in that it does not remove a senator from office, it is nevertheless a formal statement of disapproval that can have a powerful psychological effect on a member and on that member's relationships in the Senate

But this sounds like it's something the senate itself does. I can't find anything about what happens when a state party does it to a senator. That might be a state-by-state thing.

2
Ed_Ward 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ah thank you. I would assume it's a similar process in both parties and the Senate. It's also about what I expected, a strongly worded letter that at least shows that these state parties are on our side.

Redditcensorsyouandi 4 points ago +4 / -0

Probably nothing. Anyone care to elaborate?

6
GGRain 6 points ago +6 / -0

All words no action, don't let such shit hype you too much

6
YesMan 6 points ago +6 / -0

But the optics are at least positive, the more people that know means more pressure. Also, it shows that slimy turtle fuck that no one wants him around.

I hope he moves in with Chinese family in law and they get a craving for turtle soup

3
Lurker84 3 points ago +3 / -0

If someone's been in congress for longer than half the country's been alive, chances are, they don't represent you.

3
IronSpector 3 points ago +3 / -0

Next stop, General Assembly! KY Pedes! Find and contact your state representative or senator and have them vote to censure him.

Time to put feet to the fire and and remove all those saggy dicks next to names to change those "R"s to "P"s!

2
Brulz_Lulz 2 points ago +2 / -0

Mitch gonna get primaried.

2
xxxMAGA420xxx 2 points ago +2 / -0

Maybe if we write him angry letters McConnel will listen to us.

/s

2
doodaddy 2 points ago +2 / -0

what is a "censure"? It is like a strongly worded letter?

1
Robust_Safeguard 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yea but its really to inform him people are getting organized in disapproval in his behalf. I look at like a warning.

1
MrStep 1 point ago +1 / -0

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says Capitol insurrectionists were β€œprovoked by the president and other powerful people.”

Votes by illegals alone were enough to flip multiple states, never mind the extra work done with illegal ballot harvesting, unverified mail-in ballots, etc. They were provoked by you not standing up against any of it, Mitch.

1
DocCap 1 point ago +1 / -0

He can't be recalled, and he probably won't run again .... BUT The damn GOP caucus in the Senate could remove him as leader. I bet they're too cucked to do that even, though.

1
Deplorable2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

Could the state legislatures recall him? I don't know now that they changed it to a popular vote.
