Like I've said in a recent post, I feel as though our true mission is FREEDOM. Freedom from socialist, marxist, communist, and, ultimately, government control and influence over our lives. If and when the left has any success in "fundamentally changing" the United States of America like they openly call for, will our future members still feel "patriotic" aka loving of our country?

I get that we will all will remain patriots to the country as it was created and envisioned by our founders, but feel that FREEDOM is a better/clearer message and value that will hold true to our mission through the test of time.

What would our opposition have an easier time combating in terms of messaging (an area they excel in)? Saying us "PATRIOTS" are all racists who want to revert back to a country rooted in racism, bigotry, sexism, and whatever other trendy words of the day they come up with? They have no problem arguing in favor of the opposite of patriotism by simply saying, no one should love a fundamentally flawed, bigoted country. They hate and can easily steer the narrative against patriotism.

Or... Would recognizing and arguing against calls for a FREEDOM PARTY be more difficult for them? I believe it would serve as a much more effective wake up call for normies as the media stumbles over themselves to convince the people that they should be on the side that promises more control of every aspect of their lives. What is the opposite of a free man? Controlled/Imprisoned/manipulated etc. Could they argue successfully that black people and minorities should not want to be free...? Could they argue successfully that women should not want to be free...? Because the could and DO argue successfully that they shouldn't be PATRIOTIC.

What led me further to our side wasn't simply blind unwavering love of country. It was witnessing them persecuting a man who came in from the outside and simply alerted people to the fact that the media, swamp, fake news, deep state, etc. was controlling and manipulating our lives. It was the fact that they tried so DESPERATELY to keep us complacent as our FREEDOMS were not only being taken away, but even encouraged by We the People to be taken away.

FREEDOM and sovereignty is our mission and is a much stronger, more universally true message. Patriotism for the country as WE see it is great and should continue, but not Patriotism for a country that could very well be unrecognizable in years to come. That is a message that is much more difficult to defend.

Cheers

I believe you can want freedom without being a patriot. However, I believe that unless you are a TRUE patriot, you are not a real American, and thus don't belong here. Unless someone is 100% devoted to the constitution as it was originally written, without the bullshit "interpretations", and believes that America and the benefits of TRUE American people should come before ALL else, than they can pack their shit and get the fuck out of this country.

Fuck on outta here with these black pride, and faggot pride months. We should only have American pride month, and it should be every month.

I'm not prepared to compromise on my values just to get a few more people on board, who don't truly appreciate what we are fighting for.

I would argue freedom comes before patriotism. Our founders would have given us nothing to be patriotic about had they not given us freedom as laid out in our constitution. The IDEA of freedom is what sparked the writing of our Constitution and patriotism is merely a symptom of enjoying that idea.

Kind of a "chicken or the egg" philosophy. But we would not be patriots if it wasn't for our freedom.

Except the left. Which is why its a stronger message and makes it harder for the left to convince normal people that they should not be free.

Dude, like atleast half of the people in this country have no idea what the constitution says, and the POWER it has bestowed on ALL men

Patriot is rather exclusive..it connotates euro white male

And we are a nation of immigrants

I think we should be unapologetically Patriotic, but its all about messagimg and branding, you have to apeal to the lowest commom denominator =/
