They are desperate for him to not start his own political party. Dan Bongino poses some interesting and valid points as to why this may be a bad idea. I don’t know enough about what all is involved in making that happen but it seems like a new party with no support in Congress or Senate means everything they did would die at that level. I think it’s worth discussing before we all jump ship all the way. I still agree that the Republicans need to be taught a serious lesson.

If it's big enough - say 20% of the electorate, you can force yourself into a leadership role by caucusing with one of the other parties.

Definitely makes things more interesting.
