This is one of those oddities that always has me wondering. Obviously it was immensely profound and affected a lot of important people on both sides of the aisle, and quite strongly.
Trump almost looks smug to me, and probably was.

How come it seems that nothing ever came of it? If it was that 'big' of a deal, then why does it seem to have meant zero.
Well, Trump outsmarted them a ton of times but he's not omnipotent, and they've all been playing the political game their whole lives.
Something had to have happened during the last couple of months.
It is sooooo unTrump like for him to just leave quietly. Either we are all missing something or he was just outmaneuvered.
It really does seem like he was just betrayed from each and every angle, which saddens me to no end because of how much he loves this country.

She was absolutely different that one briefing after the 6th. It really has me wondering what caused it; something was off. It seems to me in some ways that the DS struck and after that, nothing was the same.
But, who knows....I know I will never know and there is nothing I can do about that.

Same. Lately I've started to suspect that there was some plan trump had but they got the upper hand. Like they did with wikileaks back in 2016/2017.
