Not an expert, but I don't think so.

I believe a certain % of the video has to be played before a view is counted, so if that's true you could just hit the pause button right away & downvote the video, then off to the next video for same thing.

Also, I'm genuinely not sure which is more desirable- either obvious polarization with massive opposition, or just crickets:

A) Risk letting them have the views, but make the optics horrible when normies and the left show up to see an eye-poppingly lopsided ratio

B) Don't risk giving them views, but also let the downvote counts stay low
