Hello all,
I just thought that a post like this could be helpful for some people here, because your vote doesn't matter, but you DO have power and control over your own individual lives. I will let you know front that I am an Anarcho Capitalist who does NOT believe in the legitimacy of government. I am also a Trump supporter, and I'm happy to discuss this seemingly antithetical position in comments, but won't go into it here.
Anarcho Capitalists believe in 2 things.
- The non aggression principle
- Property rights
It is a HIGHLY individualistic political philosophy deifying the rights of the individual. This is where every individuals true power lies. What can we do as individuals? Remove yourself from their system as much as you possibly can.

Homeschool your kids. Do not hand them over to government indoctrination camps to be brainwashed and raised to hate you. To bond with their peers more than they bond with you

Buy Bitcoin. By FAR, the largest source of power of government is drawn from their control of the currency. It's how they afford all of their wars, all of their social programs, all of their debt. It's all denominated in government mandated money. There's more currencies out there than just Bitcoin that are worth looking into, and the entire field of cryptocurrencies is disruptive to the power and control the state has over society. The more its adoption is encouraged and spread, the less power the state will have to finance their garbage programs.
I see where you're coming from. Like, even if you DO buy bitcoin, then the dollars don't go anywhere, they've just changed hands. I could/should clarify that I used bitcoin as the "normiest"example to represent the entire cryptocurrency space. I don't actually own any bitcoin myself. I have some ethereum, but I'm actually mostly in a coin called Iota that's attempting to solve the fees problem on blockchains, but any kind of money/currency that is free from government coercion has my full support. This includes gold, but as a millennial, I personally view gold to be grandpa money, and I believe bitcoin/crypto to be superior.
The more that we can foster the adoption of cryptocurrency, the better IMO, because the federal reserve is the heart of the evil that the government is capable of doing.
Correct but in order to truly get out of the control of the feds you have to not only have a currency exist but actually use it as for what currency is for. That's the step a lot of the bitcoin folk miss, otherwise you don't accomplish anything.
The USD will only lose its value and the central bank will only lose its power when people stop accepting the USD. Why do you think governments make it law that businesses have to accept their currency and pay people in their currency?
As much as anarcho-capitalists like to be law abiding citizens because most of the folk are genuinely good people. You don't resist an oppressive tyrannical government by playing by the rules. There's a reason the "black market" is so prevalent in communist countries etc... because you must decouple from the system in order to resist the system.
That means businesses that aren't legitimate. Work from the shadows and only use a shadow currency not the USD. If you're trying to devalue the USD while you're in a society that forces the USD on you, you'll never succeed.
That’s 100% why I’m invested in Iota. It’s theoretically going to be useable for everyday purchases
