I keep seeing people posting on here that the FBI visited them... and then they admit they shared information with the FBI. Do NOT do this. You do three things:
- Ask for their card
- Tell them your lawyer will contact them
- Ask them to leave
THAT'S IT. Don't say anything else. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-7o9xYp7eE
Look. You can't talk your way out of an arrest. No matter how slick you think you are. If they're there to arrest you, they're going to arrest you no matter what you say. So you ask them if they have a warrant. If they don't ask for the card, tell them your lawyer will contact them within 72 hours and tell them to get off your property as they're now trespassing. If they have a warrant, you tell them to get to work then and you ask to use the phone when you get to lock up so you can call a public defender or your lawyer.
Talking to them hurts you. It's 'Anything you say can be used AGAINST you'. Not FOR you. Their job is to make arrests. They're not looking to prove you innocent. They're looking to find you guilty. Don't help them.
Weird. I havenβt seen a single post about that.
