Just got into a heated argument with my senior mother. A spot opened up for a vaccine, and I could use it because smoking made me "high risk" in my state.
I refused to go and take it. After the last 4 years, I do not trust any government agency about a damn thing
Didn't it turn out smokers were at lower risk? The media doesn't want to admit it and they twist it to be like "well if you smoke you're more likely to touch your face so you're still at risk" but that appears to be the case. Here's a general article I found, it's hard to get a straight answer but studies were saying those who smoke who don't have any other underlying conditions or obesity are less likely to be hospitalized/die:
