It means nothing. It's a formal condemnation that carries no repercussions. It could be indicative of further action being taken against him in the future, but very likely just a strongly worded letter.
Like a disappointed mother wagging her finger in a child's face and saying "naughty naughty." After which, the child just goes back to playing, or being a deliquent.
McConnell’s speech prompted Nelson County GOP leaders to hold an emergency meeting, voting unanimously to issue a resolution censuring the senate majority leader for his comments.
“This has shown his true colors,” Nelson Co. GOP Chairman Don Thrasher said. “We felt today during his floor speech on the senate where he impugned the character of President Trump was unacceptable to us. his whole behavior overall through this whole process of the last week is not consistent with what he promised us when he was running for re-election.”
Censure is a formal statement of disapproval. ... is less severe than expulsion in that it does not remove a senator from office, it is nevertheless a formal statement of disapproval that can have a powerful psychological effect on a member and on that member's relationships in the Senate
But this sounds like it's something the senate itself does (expulsion takes a two-thirds senate vote BTW). I can't find anything about what happens when a state party does it to a senator. That might be a state-by-state thing.
Nothing "happens", but politicians are supposed to listen to their constituents. This letter is "signal" and represents part of his base. They're saying "keep this up, and we'll make sure your next election will be rough." That said, his next election is in 5 years. That's a long time and many voters will forget.
Can someone explain what that means?

They reprimanded him.
From Wikipedia about senatorial censures:

As I said, it's half the equivalent of Karen asking to speak to your manager.
