I just saw a video over on Gab, of newly sworn in Republican Congressman Madison Cawthorn, taking a shitload of take-out pizzas to the troops the Democrats relegated to the parking garage.
Why are these NG troops still deployed, anyway? There was no actual resistance to the Inauguration, in DC or anywhere else. It’s not exactly a “militia threat” when the activity consists of people staying home and posting complaints online about some temporary limits on tweeting.
I just read that they were returned to The Capitol Building after the news got out they were tossed into the parking garage, and other places. I know Gov. Abbott ordered his National Guard back home.

Exactly. Soldiers generally enjoy deployments better than sitting in garrison at a military base in the States. Less bureaucracy.
