I wouldn't say for no reason, they just happened to have a well timed bombing to give them the excuse. But it has a higher chance of being a CIA false flag than someone actually threatening the US in any way.

Even if it was an "organic" attack, the fact that we upended the country in the first place is why that kind of stuff happens in the first place. I don't think it's beneficial for the American people in any way to ramp up efforts in a situation largely caused by the government.

Putting our troops in their country is always going to bring attacks. Imagine how people in America would feel if China decided to drop troops into Maine because of our elections looking sketchy and then setup a base with 25,000 troops.
