Woodrow Wilson won the Election with 41% of the vote and a very high electoral vote count. The Rules of an Election is Winner takes all and if the Democrats Switch to Popular vote, this is a Strategical Disaster. if the Far-Left Socialist can put pressure on the Establishment Democrats, then we can spend these 2 years build our own. home grown candidates(and culture), for our cause. Probably closer to 20%, but that's enough to cause a massive shift away from the Republicans, weakening them enough for them to come begging us to come back. Only then we can have real change.

Not really because politicians will say anything to get elected. The GOP is beholden to their corporate diners. Once they don't have any power, that dries up, all go to the Dems. So who has the power over the GOP at that point, the 20% that left them.

Im torn with this, i mostly agree that we should take the party back. At the same time i dont want anything to do with the name anymore.
If a new patriot party is formed it needs to happen sooner rather than later. Forming a new party will not be easy and it could very easily split our vote. Not all of the 75 million who voted for trump are full MAGA like us, some would have voted because he ran as a republican. We still need those votes if we want a new party to succeed.
Its not impossible, but it will require each and every one of us to do our parts locally to spread it
Elect Trump as Republican, Prinary the RINO’s and rebrand the Republican as a lion...ditch the elephant as a symbolic rebranding and revamping of the party. 3rd party is a 20 year exercise in my opinion. After a year of these clowns in office that we have today...people are going to be begging for Trump again. Let these idiots hang themselves.
GOP as a brand is dead. Left consider it a nazi party, right think it's a spineless backstabber party, nobody wants to do anything with them. Even if we flush 100% of GOP and start over that name alone will still carry that bad image in people's minds. Those rotten corrupt politicians that sit on the same chair for decades cannot be changed, only replaced. So we don't need their name, we don't need their people. Yes it will be much harder to start from scratch but there is no easy way out at this point, only to turn the page and start over with good solid foundation and people we can trust.

A third party will not fly. Example. Wilson ran for Pres-dem Rep party split to 2 parties. Wilson won the election with only 41% of the vote, 475 electoral votes and 40 states The split rep party had a total of 50% but ine has 23% and the other had 27%
Thus, a split rep party gave the election to the dems with only 41% of the vote. In order to do anything we have to be the strong arm of the rep party, win the primaries then dominate elections. Of course, we have to do the work to fix election processes -no Mail in votes, no more machines.

The GOP is corrupted by the RNC and corporate donors. They support RINO candidates and block funding for candidates that try to primary RINOs. Goodluck changing that.
